spent some time on the rear bumper...lots of nooks & crannies in between the lenses and the chrome trim pieces. the old Turtle Wax brand chrome polish is my fav. Not bad for untouched original.... -

Got Dry Rot?? the tires are literally exploding while sitting parked in the garage mounted on the Buick! 4am in the morning I'm sleeping in bed, and then BOOM! One after another they are blowin! check these out!... Dont be fooled by pretty looking tires with good tread. These were sitting for 7 years. The car drove smooth and quiet for the first few drives, but now that they have heated up..they are done. I got a new set coming. Really great deal right now on Discount Tire Direct for Hankook 70,000mile whitewall 235/75/15's. -

Hey folks, I'm looking to replace my single stock exaust with a dual exaust on my 1971 Electra with a 455. Its a stock 455 with NO modifications or changes to the carb or cam, etc.. I am looking for somewhat quiet mufflers. But, I DO WANT some type of throaty sound. Just not on the level of flowmaster throaty. I've had 40 series flowmasters on a 455 in my past, and it sounded great..but this is a cruiser, and I am seeking a sound that is quieter than the flowmasters. I hope you guys can catch my drift for what I am looking for. Any suggestions/advice is welcome and appreciated! PS - also, any suggestions on pipe diameter (2", 2.25", 2.5"???) thanks! - JohnnyRock (Virginia USA)

did they even make this as an option? thanks
