1. Looking for an 'M' (lost) and 2 'I's (damaged, so less important, could be repaired). I believe that 1952 trunk letters are the same. Can anyone in the community help? Thanks in advance Stefan
2. my friend found this and asked for help to identify it, i was think somewhere along the lines of a 1937 but was wondering what input you all have as to which model and or year.
3. I am restoring a '37 Buick, model 41. I am putting the vehicle back together, but it has been many years since I took off the hood latches that I don't remember how to put them back on. I know, I should have taken more pictures! Does anyone have pics of that area of the car that I can look at? Or can someone direct me to a reference I can use? I would appreciate any help.Bobby Rodd
4. Hello I started a new project, a 1934 dodge sedan, not sure the type since it is partially restored, and I haven't located the door plate with details. I have been reading these forums and getting familiar with the car. I have a couple pictures in my new gallery. One thing I am curious about so far is the hood corners. I see that leather or rubber ones are common, but the ones on my hood are brass, with brass rivets. Would these be original? The good handle was fastened to the hood with what appear to be steel and brass rivets. What is a good source for replacement rivets? I removed the handle to work on the hood and drilled out the rivet. thanks for any advice. John
5. My grandfather was an avid collector of antiques and automobile memorabilia. He died several years ago, and I recently discovered three big boxes of hood ornaments in my parents basement. I went through them the other night and pulled out 5 or 6 of the more interesting ones. He made wooden bases for some of the ones in the best shape. I recognize most of them, but one is a complete mystery to me. It is a huge, heavy metal eagle (osprey? hawk?) that he has labeled "1919 Coey Flyer". I can find next to nothing online about the Coey automobile company or the cars they produced. I don't see any referenced past 1917 at all. Can anyone tell me what I've got here? It seems to be in very good shape if it is indeed almost 100 years old, and it looks awesome, but I'd love to know more about it. I have attached a few pictures (sorry, I don't know why they are upside down). Thanks, Ross

10. What position should the hinges be in for installation of the hood? The hood is the alligator style. Should they be in the closed or open position? Also does anybody have any tips on this process? The '53 manual doesn't seem to cover this. Thanks!
11. My 1964 project is getting started again. It was a pain to get but I wanted it. It wasn't in bad shape, complete and still ran, although it has an engine knock which is not a problem for me to fix. My problems are with some of the rust. The floors are not bad but I will replace at least 3 of the 4 major pitted areas. The trunk is good as is the gas tank. The windows all raise except for the rear driver side, it was held up with wood when I got the car. My major problems are with the leading edge of the front hood and the upper leading edge of the roof! and both of these are really just surface rust. I am hoping to just replace the hood and would like to cut out the roof portion instead of tedious sheet metal forming and welding. Not going to get rid of this one, it is my first Riviera but I have restored a few other types of cars. So any suggestions, hints, good griefs or leads to pieces. Thanks Russ

17. what we have here is a great find. its from what i can tell off a 1943 to 1948 buick hood. it really is in great shape as far as a 64 year old hood that has never been touched goes. the only rust is on the corners closets to the windshield, but that is it and very minimal. this is a great buy for the right guy. the only part thats missing it the main emblem. please feel free to call me if you are serious (not to just ask question) (541)974-4057 ask for Alex or email westfootball55@aol.com asking $500 or best offer (open to any offer but dont try to low ball me) For some reason I cant get pictures to post right now but i will try again soon.
