Have you seen "Old Parked Cars" site?

That's cool Marrs. Thanks for the follow-up and some very nice recent finds! Here's an early model Datsun "Z" (might be a "260" based on what I can see from an enlargment of the rear emblem) that I saw in a shopping plaza in Madison, CT, the same day (10/5/2013) I scoped out those other two vintage 4-wheelers from my last post... -
Drove the '70 Bug over to a really enjoyable event in Guilford, CT this past Sunday (10/20/2013) called the "Shoreline Oktoberfest," ref: http://shorelineoktoberfest.com/ - where there was reduced admission for classic car drivers (that day and also Friday evening). The Mrs. drove her '63 Ghia there also. Fun times on a bright and sparkling Sunday!

Oh, one more shot from Route 146 in Stony Creek this morning that's worth sharing (even though my windshield clearly can use some cleaning) was this very beautiful vintage '70s Chevy Pickup that passed us going in the other direction...

Drove the gnarly '69 Bug to work again today--a sparkling day in Southern Connecticut! Yes indeed, that's a Beetle-shaped shadow on coastal Route 146 westbound in Stony Creek, CT early this morning: And a few minutes later, we are up on Interstate 95, southbound (approaching the Branford rest stops area--the northbound side, visible to the left, opened recently, but the southbound side is still being worked-on), no problem holding our own at 65+ mph (the '69 Bug with it's long-legged '73 transmission is so much more of a capable and confident highway car than my clapped-out '92 Taurus): Happy Friday!

New York to California nonstop in 60 hours in a 1930 Model A Ford

That one was a Model T, though? EDIT: Sorry I should have looked at the link first. This T I think was also doing, or had done, some extraordinary road trip also. Web site noted on spare tire cover: http://www.tfordworldtour.org/ -

This cool topless & bumper-less International Scout was seen parked in the same parking lot that day (10/5/2013), right alongside of Route 1, in Madison, CT, a few cars away from the Land Rover pictured in the previous post... One more Madison, CT old car sighting from that same day yet to come... -

I had a few cool local old car sightings on the Saturday before "Hershey Holy Week", from around Madison, CT (that would be Saturday, 10/5/2013). First, there was this cool old Land Rover, that looks like it's "seen some action"... From the "AllRovers" web site noted on their sign, I'll guess this old warrior was somehow associated with "Madison Motors." -
Had a few extra minutes to process pictures of another really outstanding Buick that was seen at the Friday evening, September 27th, 2013 cruise night in Milford, CT--this gorgeous white Riviera... Next stop, Hershey, Pennsylvania... EDIT: Hmm, it appears I might need to try re-uploading the shots of the white Riviera--will get that done next chance I get...

Finishing up a couple of detail views of the beautiful '70s Skylark Convertible that was seen at the Friday evening, September 27th, 2013 cruise night in Milford, CT... There was also a very nice mid/late '60s Riviera there that I got a couple of pictures of--will follow up with those next chance I get...

Oh man, I just finished reading through "Chartreuse Cruiser," pages 24 thru 29 of the Hemmings Classic Car November 2013 issue! Tremendous story! Tremendous car! Dandy owner! EDIT: And of course kudos to the text and photos by Matthew Litwin, who I think might be a fellow Nutmeg State-er(?).

Sorry, Wayne! As OldCarFan correctly noted, that was "The Other Wayne!"

Is that black car a Studebaker, Marrs? Great looking Falcon, nicely photographed for that web site, also, Lahti! Here's a very sharp-looking MG Midget that I got behind for a short time on CT Coastal Route 146 in Branford, CT, today. He was motoring right along, so I was not able to get any really good shots of him. The twisty two-lane road also prompted me not to get too fancy trying to take pictures! Nice day for an old car ride here in Southern Connecticut... -
Picture of my Fun Meter that I took today (Sunday, October 13th), following this year's "Wet 'N Wild" Hershey experience. Had it on my hat, which I wore while flea market & car corral browsing, Wednesday through Friday--and even a quick bit of car show spectating on Saturday morning. Guess they don't make them waterproof! P.S.: It was "pegged" all day Wednesday, by the way!

Had fun, even with the rain. Here's a picture of, I think, a group of Germans, doing their best to take in the event--I think this picture was from Friday afternoon: We did a quick run-thru of the car show field before leaving yesterday morning (glorious weather), and saw many cool cars and some familiar faces. Great job as usual Hershey Region--already looking forward to next year...

Spotted this beauty in my area on the way home from work yesterday (October 3, 2013)... Sorry for crummy quality photos--was driving by at the time and didn't want to draw too much attention to myself... -

KenHupp's post above reminded me that a friend of mine sent me some pictures in May of this year of a "1970 Citroën Méhari</SPAN></SPAN>" that he apparenty spotted in Cromwell, CT. He was driving his '68 VW Bug at the time also, which is visible in the background of one of the shots... -

Couple old cars in my hood from yesterday afternoon (Wednesday 10/2/2013). Wonder what the one under the tarp was... -

Another "driving home sighting" on Interstate 95 this afternoon, in the New Haven, CT area--a Renault Alliiance GTA Convertible! Appears that the "GTA" was a 1987-only model, per: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renault_Alliance Photos are in the sequential order in which I was able to snap 'em off, from behind the wheel of my '69 VW Bug, from around the entrance onto the Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge (a.k.a. "Q Bridge") all the way thru East Haven, and then with the car exiting off the first Branford exit...
