  1. Good morning and Happy Thursday... Continuing with our Hershey 2014 browse, we've now seen everything we wanted to see in the Car Corral, and are now walking thru, I think, the Orange field, which is kind of adjacent to (& surrounding most of) the Car Corral... First thing I took a picture of was... another beautiful car!... This time it was a really classy '36 Buick... NICE!... Have a great day!...
  2. The positively magnificent '40s Packard that was next to the Alfa also demanded at least a couple of quick photos, while we continued our Hershey 2014 Car Corral browse... In retrospect, it would have been great to have more time to photograph more of these great old cars... But we take (& enjoy) what we can get, I guess... Have a great Wednesday evening...
  3. Wow, nice job with the Saturday sales strategy, greenie! Glad to hear it worked out so well for you! And great job also nuturing The Next Generation of Hershey Die-Hards!!!
  4. Good morning and Happy Wednesday... From the ongoing Hershey 2014 Car Corral browse, here is a spectacular 1963 Alfa Romeo 2600 Spider... Wow, beautiful!... And from a little bit of casual googling, it appeared it sold a couple of years ago, for substantially less than what was shown for an asking price on the window card at Hershey, ref: http://www.rmauctions.com/lots/lot.cfm?lot_id=1049538 ... Have a great day!
  5. More from the 2014 Hershey Car Corral... Whatta Pair! Early '30s (best guess) Auburn, and '40s (again, best guess) Chrysler... Have a great rest of your Monday afternoon!...
  6. Good morning and Happy Monday!... From the Car Corral, here is a front fender script for a '58 or so Olds Ninety Eight that really caught my eye... Wish I had taken a picture of the overall car!... I don't recall it being a convertible, but I found a sales brochure page online that shows what appears to be the same color in a Convertible version... And then some '58 Olds paint chips that were also found online appear to identify this color as DDL-50503, "Heather"... Have a great day!
  7. Really beautiful car, Matt! Glad to hear of your and the new owner's positive feellings about it too! Speaking for myself, it was great fun seeing and photographing it at Hershey!
  8. Good morning and Happy Friday! From our ongoing Hershey 2014 Car Corral browse, here's a superb 1934 Chrysler Airflow... STYLISH!... Have a great day!
  9. One more for today from our ongoing browse of the Hershey 2014 Car Corral... Late '40s (best guess) Ford Woodie Wagon... Have a great Thursday evening...
  10. Light snow this morning in Southern Connecticut, Thursday, December 11th, 2014...
  11. Light snow here in Southern Connecticut today, Thursday, December 11, 2014...
  12. Happy mid-day Thursday... From ongoing browse of the Hershey 2014 Car Corral, here's a super-solid looking '57 Buick Roadmaster...
  13. "The Batmobile Lives!"... How about this oh-so-sexy '66 Pontiac Grand Prix that we spotted in the Car Corral... Wow!... Have a great Wednesday evening!
  14. Good morning and Happy Wednesday!... From the Car Corral, here's a '42 Plymouth front end with plenty of class & character... Have a great day!
  15. Happy Early Tuesday Lunchtime... Here's a super-clean looking '67 Chevy Impala wagon that we saw in the Car Corral... I wanted to make sure that it was in fact an Impala, since I could not tell by blowing up that rear fender emblem, and so I did some internet searching for reference photos of '67 Impala wagons, and found one, which clearly shows the rear script and emblem, which I'll include here. Sorry no idea on asking price for this very nice white example with rally wheels... Have a good day, and we'll be back for more Hershey browsing tomorrow...
  16. Good morning and Happy Tuesday!... Continuing our Hershey 2014 Car Corral browsing... Here's a great low-miles '60 Chevy Howe Pumper...
  17. Hershey 2014 Car Corral browsing continued... Air-cooled 'teens (best guess) Franklin...
  18. Good morning and Happy Monday!... From the Hershey Car Corral, it's a couple of cool British sports cars: A very nice looking MGTD, and then a '60 MGA that looks like it needs a little TLC ... Sorry no ideas of asking prices on either... From the applicable wikipedia pages, TDs were manufactured '50 to '53, and MGAs were manufactured '55 to '62... Have a great day!
  19. Back in the Car Corral proper again... Came across this positively fabulous mid-'30s (best guess anyway) Terraplane Cabriolet--wow, talk about STYLISH... Diane and I attempted a couple of selfies in the slightly cloudy spare tire's hub cap--not too successful, even with electronic intervention... Have a great rest of your Friday, and a great weekend!... Over and out for now!...
  20. Good morning and Happy Friday! Happy to continue on our browse thru the Car Corral... At this point, however, being around the back edge of the Orange Field (remember that the Car Corral kind of wraps completely around three sides of it), we decided to take a quick detour up to the flea market space of John the VW parts guy from Western PA, from whom Diane had bought a bunch of great old NOS VW parts a couple of years ago. His space was very close to the southern tip of the Orange field. The good news was that he was there this year, and Diane had fun catching up wth him and buying a few more top notch NOS parts. It sounds like he never even set up last year due to the heavy rains! Anyway, glad he was able to make it back this year!... Happy Friday once again...
  21. Positively spectacular '61 Chrysler New Yorker in the Car Corral... Wow... Have a great rest of your Thursday!
  22. Good morning and Happy Thursday... From the Car Corral: a super-clean '47 DeSoto...
