I got 10 years, 10 months out of a Delco battery in my 85 Oldsmobile. The replacement battery didn't last half that long.

I bought this 1985 Oldsmobile new in June 1985. It now has 158,500 miles on it. The only engine work besides oil changes, was a valve cover gasket. All paint is original except the outside rear view mirrors. The clear coat was peeling. I changed the original wheels when I could no longer find 205/70 R13 RWL tires.

I'd like to hear about your "first cars"
Tom99 replied to Leif in Calif's topic in General Discussion
My first car was bought from behind a Texaco gas station in January 1966. I paid $100 for me 1959 Mercury Montery 4 door sedan. After about $50 worth of work, and a new set of recap tires, I was on the road. I sold it six months later to a neighbor. -
