1. Been awhile since I posted, so was nice to see the garage postings. What is the best compressor? Nice posting of the Kobalt 80 gal tank being delivered, but is that efficient enough to run a small cabinet sandblaster. Price was right, but is the flow sufficient? Wow, let me tell you how much I love my wife!!! Actally building the garage before the house goes up!!! Just moved to Camden, SC and having a new house built. Well, need storage space, so, up goes the garage. 36x50x12, insulated, 4" concrete floor, 10x12 door, 3 windows, entry door, $24K. Not bad. Morton Buildings wanted $61K for the same job. BTW, did I tell you how much I love my wife!!!! Also, this is our 20th adress in 33 years, so I have to doing something right. Also, what about car lifts, lots of chinese stuff out there, any recommendations? Dan

3. I have posted these to the ACD site as well. Here is a unique set of 6V horns, that were "bought for a '36 Cord". The fella I bought these from was a little long in the tooth, and he says he bought these from Cord in '53 (?) These are unique horns, and if not for Cord, have you ever seen them before Thanks dan
4. Here is an additional pix of another horn I am told fits a Cord Beverly. Any chance that could be true?
5. Attached is a set of horns I am told are for a '36 Cord Beverly. Any chance that is true? Thanks Dan
6. I just purchased two horns that the gentleman said were for a '36 Cord Beverly (?). One is new old stock that was purchased in 1952, and has two horns in one assembly. ( well maybe 1952, the ol' feller was a little long in the tooth) The second is a very long trumpet horn, really neat. Need a contact to verify if these are for a Cord, or will look realy great on my '28 Essex, that is not quite stock. Will send pix upon request. Thanks Dan
7. Your assistance is requested to ID the following heater switch. GM box, Group No. 8.852, Part No. 3144263, looks like a heater switch. Thanks dan dmarx@voyager.net

12. Try going there on thursday. After a full day on the feet, I thought it would be great to get some food and dring and relax watching the auction. What a mistake. There was no food or drink available in the Giant center, unless of course you bought the $100 bidders ticket!!!! At 5:30 the exterior vendors were closed. Goes to show you, money rules!!! I was told by security that Blackhawk Productions wouldn't allow the Giant center to sell food, and many were complaining. the part of the auction I did see, provided a glimpse into the world of donated cars. There were several no reserve cars in the 1903-08 vintage. Gotta love that early Caddy and Buick and IHC. Oh well, just my thoughts. Perhaps there should be an anouncement that you are not allowed to buy food in the Giant Center unless you pay a $100 cover charge. Dan
13. I need a fender for decent left front fender for a '28 Essex. Hope to be at Hershey. dmarx@voyager.net
14. This is an Autolite ignition cable that fits the Stude, but I am not sure of the year. The keys are branded "Studebaker" with the large "S", made by YALE lack. The cap part where the coil mounts to the cable is embossed CE 242, the tag has a part ID of CE **342NS, not sure of the first two numbers. This is a great NOS piece if needed. Pix are available. Any help puit a correct ID on this would be greatly appreciated. thanks dan dmarx@voyager.net

17. For Sale, Delco remy Starter Drive, Delco Remy 37870, fits the following Buick: 29-30; 1931 series 60, 80, & 90. This new in the Delco can, unopened. $25.00 + postage. Thanks Dan
18. Just to add my two cents worth. While I don't have the Ol' Hupmobile to hot rod, I am working on a rough '28 Essex. BTW, the engine and front axle are going to Florida for a rare '28 Phaeton, the seats went to Quebec City, Canada, the horn and steering wheel went to Saskechewan, Canada, the steering gear box and brake parts are in a car in California, and I still have some wood wheels if you might be interested. The car was not woth restoring back to original. However, every one of the people mentioned are real happy!! At 6'1" and 250+ pounds, I will feel safe and comfotable driveing my '28 Essex, that is not quite stock. As far as an AACA meet goes, well, I really joined to get my spaces at Hershey.
19. A very simple formula is tincture of Iodine , 2% solution will do. This is commonly found on a farm or your local formulary. Pour about 1" above the piston that is frozen, let set a couple of days, the use a piece of good ol' pine board and a hammer, and remove the piston. Yes, it really works. My father-in-law used it for years. Worked really well on my '37 Cadillac!!! Try it, you'll like it! Dan
20. I have a late 40's Dodge dump truck for sale. Now don't get real excited about this one. The engine runs, flat head 6, good radiator, trans is good, and the hydraulic pump works. Lifts a load of sand with no problem. Has no brakes and when it rains, the water flow right thru it. Lots of rust. There is a 4 piece hood that is in fair shape. Doors, well, they are atleast hanging on the cab. This is a parts vehicle at best. If you need an engine, etc, lets talk. Locted northeast of Flint, Michigan. Dan dmarx@voyager.net
