Were you cute back when? I was, check it out!

Thank you Peter! They now work folks. Anybody else got any. I'm sorry they aren't better. Guess Mom didn't have a digital camera in those days. W -
1937hd47, National Show Winner!? And I thought you only owned that old pick up! Wayne

Woops! Peter needs to do just a little work to the site address. He'll get to it, be patient. W. -
A trophy to PeterG for getting these pictures to a site. http://www.aaca.org/misc/50chevywayne.jpg Yeap!, That's me. I like that cap! http://www.aaca.org/misc/MikeWayne-32.jpg My son and I. I'm the little guy! Right! http://www.aaca.org/misc/BabyPat.jpg And this is ex98thdrill in the early stages of training for his secret agent status in today's world. Cute little bugger, Huh! Well. I started it. You guys can finish. I'm going to Charlotte--vvooommm!

Mr. Paulsen is right. I wrote the name down, but I still can't pronounce it. I watched the "caretaker" cleaning the car and told his girlfriend,I had a pair of bellbottoms that looked just like that car in '69. That cracked her up. The other gentleman there said their collection is located in L. A. and is free to the public. I'm afraid to go there. The last trip to Calif. got me an free education in jungle training. I'm not giving that state another chance at me. Also someone told me there was a big fancy tractor trailer rig at Hershey to haul those cars around, and all I got is a cheesey pickup with a little car trailer. Wayne

Just goes to show you, Dave. Anyone can screw up. At least you corrected it. Thank you. W.

Geez, Dave! What have you started here? Another Rant & Rave Thread? All this name calling from..., from who? I can't even tell who's talking to who with all these anon's running amok. Wayne -
Sorry Pat/ex98thdrill, You can't blame that picture on PeterG. I was the culprit. You know we all like baby pictures. Hey! That could be a new thread. I'll start it shortly. Wayne

Hershey Photos - can anyone share theirs for the site?

Ref jdee! Any idea what the flea market guy wanted for the chopped highboy in pic. 38, 41, 42. Don't tell anybody I asked, especially my wife! Wayne -
Peter H. isn't a twit, just a little old and senile. I betcha he's got a least a year or two on me. Just kidding, Peter. I want to say I wish I had more time to name each of my pictures and edit them. Thanks for posting them PeterG. Also of note, page 4, 4th.row, 2nd. picture is DF member 1937hd45 smiling because of all his newfound wealth from selling junk--uhh used parts! Also, page 7 pic. numbers 115,116,117 are of an 1962 Israeli Sabra, made in England, assembled in Israel. The car had front disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, and a well chromed engine. I was impressed! Sorry I don't have more time to post info. E-mail me if you have questions. Wayne

1937hd45! Lets see, Bob. If I divide that speed by 2 and multiply by 8, I should get 510.64 MPH. So, that's how fast my wife's Caprice oughta go. She told me it was fast. I mean, come on, a small block chevy should be more efficient than some old "Flathead". Wayne -

Peter, I've got a 168 Digitals, but it'll be the weekend before I can send them. Wayne -
I agree with Dave@moon about the great time you would have had if you had stayed another day. My feet were so wet Friday, that I kept saying to myself" Why are you up here?" Meeting all the people and seeing those great cars being "Driven" on to the showfield Saturday morning made it all worthwhile. Thanks!, AACA! Wayne

I was wondering why Bob had that pussycat smile on his face the whole time I was talking to him Friday. Wayne

Likewise with me , Kathy! I mentioned the site to everyone that would listen to me. There are too many smart people in this club that are not sharing their knowledge. The biggest reason given me for not using the site is " don't want to waste my time, I would rather be in the garage working on my cars!". That's a good reason, but they are still missing out on some interesting conversations. Wayne

Hey Dave! You start with the cheap stuff first, then work on up to the big blocks and blowers! W. Reference- ex98thdrill- e-mail me please! W. -
OK Bob, I saw that thing you called a pick up Thursday! Do you have a pocket full of cash or did you have to stick it back in your van with those other leftover used parts? If sold, who bought it. The suspence is killing me. Wayne

Great answer Brassbus! That's the whole point of living in a free country. Being able to do anything to "your" car as long as what you do doesn't make unsafe. Dave@moon would make it illegal to put a cd player in your '57 Chevy. Wayne -
1937hd45! Could go either way, guy. Depends on who shows up with the deepest pockets at the time you want to really deal. It would sure make a nice first ride for my 13 year old. Have to have a Chevy in it though. Wayne

To "The old guy" and "another old car". I've finally found at least two guys that will appreciate the new "Hotrod Class" next year. It's the historical significance that counts! We're all in this automotive hobby together, to keep the old ones on the road. Wayne Burgess 56 chevy sedan delivery 65 corvette coupe 35 fordor streetrod 32 ford highboy coupe -
Anybody else going to meet at Hershey. I'm writing down names and checking them twice. Wayne
-
Hey Dude! It'd be easier to ask "Who's not going to Hershey!!!!!!"
-
I agree! Leave it like it is. The new format has enough problems without adding to them. Wayne
