  1. Like Wow, Another 4-speed Buick! Needs work, but how cool would it b to have this? 63 Lesabre convertible on ebay: ???? Full restoration : ?????? Rowing the 4 speed in a buick convertible: priceless! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2488639802&category=6138
  2. Now I have to work instead of scanning for new posts AAAAHHHHHHHHH
  3. The LeSabre Wagon was a "46" series car, like the Wildcats. I requested info on the Wildcats and rcvd info on the Wagons. I summarized the details from the Daily Car Report that I find interesting, which is Super Wildcat engines, 4-speeds and a/c. I made a spread sheet. See attachment! Hope it helps, it shows 56 of the 4635 and 38 of the 4645 Wagons came with the dual quad engine. http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=36582&highlight=1964+wildcat
  4. I'm not sure if the Pontiac stuff is the same, Ames Performance has body mounts www.amesperf.com good luck
  5. My interior guy asked me what a 57 Roadmaster hardtop is worth. 1! owner, not much else known. I may get pictures for better opinions. Stay tuned!
  6. Normally a Special would have a V-6 or 300 ci V8. If it has a 401 it may be a GS, which is more desireable. If someone put a 401 in a Special , I say COOOL! But not original
  7. Good Luck!!! Wild Bill has them installed in his cars, and looked long and hard for them. Matt in Wichita has a set in his original 64 Wildcat 4-speed, and is looking for more. Joe Bettis in Vermont had a set in his 65 Riv converted to 3speed w/od. Thats all the ones I have heard of out there for 3.91's. Wild Bill sold his 4.45 set some time ago...are they in a car now? Robert? did you buy these? I am also looking. But I have no time limit...
  8. Hard to find! I am looking for the 3.90:1 set, and have heard of a 4.45:1 set floating around. Anybody out there have any in their car?
  9. Thats cool-looks like they used the Electra fenders/hood/grill, and Wildcat trim from the cowl back. Fenders are unique-venti ports on top, wildcat trim on the body line. I Like it! Remember the 65 Electra 6-door limo that was on ebay a couple years ago?
  10. I don't know about the key-I have a couple that came with my cars that are all worn out. Cool car you have, can we see pictures? Thanks
  11. Check Hemmings new issue-one blue/blue for sale this month! I just got my issue and its a home. Good luck!
  12. That car is too cool! I was able to visit with Matt out in Wichita last month. He is restoring a 4-speed Wildcat, a subject near and dear to my heart! Greg Scharding and I got a ride last year with Matt in this Electra. The interior chrome could put your eye out, it was SHARP. A real pleasure to see this car.
  13. Check out this post- Kleiner is doing a repo of the big block linkage. Stay tuned... http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=40957
  14. No problem! I posted a couple more on the photo site today. I also got one of the 38 Buick-while it was in the trailer @ Amelia.

  17. I sat next to this guy that bought this car on my plane ride back to Cincinnati. Pictures...
  18. I used Gary @ Rallyamerica with excellent results. He did take longer than he originally thought. I will use his services again.
  19. Might try Carmen Faso. Ha has lots of parts for these engines- 716 693 4090 He is in Buffalo, NY Good luck
  20. I just saw a 64 Riv with a Flowmaster dual in/out Camaro muffler installed. It was pretty loud, but the muffler tucked up in there very well. He had a local shop install it. I like the Magnaflow idea, it may be a little quieter.
  21. You can tell the "pecking order" of the Buicks by their series number. for example, in 1965 it goes like this for the big cars: 49000 Riviera 48000 Electra 46000 Wildcat 45000 LeSabre Definately sportier than the LeSabre, not quite as luxurious as the Electra.
  22. Probably need to check these ##s out, I was adding in my head from the encyclopedia of american cars. check out the buicks.net website!
