  4. Hey Alan, Just tore the garage apart for about an hour and couldn't find it! Didn't mean to tease you; I'm virtually certain I have it somewhere, but darned if I know where it could be. I'll keep looking... Best Regards, Steve.
  5. Nice car. How did the center of the speedometer get like that?
  6. Hi Alan, Sorry to leave you hanging. It wasn't in the couple places I initially thought, and then I had to leave and catch up to family for Memorial Day. I will have more time to look tomorrow. I hope I have it, was virtually certain it was in those first locations, but it will need a deeper search. Best regards, Steve.
  7. Going out to the garage right now....
  8. The mind boggles! What a reprise of outstanding fun that would be! I'm picturing '64 dark blue or even black on that, courtesy of a certain Fridley body shop. Wonder when the owner of the car is going to check back on this thread.......

  17. Is there a more beautiful car anywhere than a '49 Super/Roadmaster Sedanette? Nope.
  18. Thanks for your e-mail and pics Paul, I replied to you, interested.
  19. Paul: Somewhat confused by your post, I did not receive an e-mail, and I responded to you in a post above; was there another post (that you deleted)? I did not notice it. Maybe not as vigilant about monitoring this as I should be, maybe I just didn't see it while it was up; I'm only aware of one post by you, that I answered. Please e-mail me at sbrmd@aol.com and I will be sure to respond if I get an e-mail. Randy: Looking for one in driver shape that I can have polished; straight with no signif dings though; my chrome guy can obviously massage out minor ones.
  20. Paul: They are the "deep" design for the wider Roadmaster wheel, covering the whole wheel; I don't have a closeup, but see pics: Dale: I think the trim ring is stainless and the cap is chrome over some other base metal. John: Thanks in advance for checking..
