  1. Hi all, I am looking for 1901-03 CDO parts. Especially need a front axle, spindles and flywheel. Any condition considered. Original or repro, pieces, parts, etc. Also need lots of other parts, too. Leads appreciated. Thanks, Chris Paulsen McPherson, KS
  2. Hi Terry, Nice plug. I should probably start a new thread, but do you know of any Kansas made plugs? I know of Hagstrom and Bathurst and B&B (I believe). Thanks for any help, Chris
  3. Hi all, Can anyone identify this early raceabout/sport roadster? The sidelight appears to be black and brass/nickel which leads me to believe it is 1912-1914. Thanks, Chris
  4. The Restoration program is entirely a four-year program. Restoration students all take the same core of restoration classes, then choose an emphasis from the following: Technology, Management, History, Communication, or Art & Design. This gives all students a complete mix of restoration classes, general ed. classes, and other classes depending on their major. We accept quite a few non-traditional students with previous degrees or credits. Often this previous education shortens their time at McPherson to 2 or 3 years. I hope this helps, Chris
  5. Hi all, I am one of the instructors here at McPherson College. I/we very much appreciate all of the comments so far. If there are any questions I can answer about our summer institute classes or the program in general, please feel free to contact me. Thank you, Chris Paulsen paulsenc@mcpherson.edu (620)242-0569
  6. I agree, it's not an EMF. I think it's a 1910-11 Chalmers. I hope this helps, Chris
  7. I'd say it is an Overland, circa 1912-14. Chris
  8. Great photo. It looks like a 1911 Chalmers Toy Tonneau to me. Thanks for sharing, Chris
  9. This one is a Torovoce. Does anyone know if it had a specific use, or just an accessory? The pair are Schwarze M-68. How about those? Does anyone need any of them? Thanks for the help, Chris
  10. The first one looks like a 1910 or 1911 Reo to me. Especially with left-hand drive. Cool pictures, Chris
  11. I agree, this one wasn't really unknown. Bud was gracious enough to allow us to tour his collection on an HCCA tour a few years ago. Great stuff! Chris
  12. Well, that didn't work as planned. Let me try again.
  13. Here are a few more. Pics 1 & 2 are the same cap. Pics 3 & 4 are the same cap. Pic 5 is not threaded, it snaps in place. Hopefully, they look familiar to someone. Thanks, Chris
  14. Maybe I should post this in the Collectibles forum, too, since I have a small collection of threaded hubcaps, and would like to trade if anyone else does, too. Here are a few I have that I cannot identify. The first has a snap ring that goes all the way around it. The third is cast iron. I was thinking Oldsmobile truck. The last is nickel plated brass, and appears similar to ones found on Weston-Mott axles. Can anyone help? Thanks, Chris
  15. I agree, it's a great photo, and a great car, but I don't think it's a Peerless. It looks like an oval, flip-top radiator neck. That makes me lean towards 1909 Kissel or Overland, both 6 cylinder, but I think their cowls would be more square. Then again, I could be all wrong. I have been before. I will have to get out the books. Respectfully, Chris
  16. Great photo. The license plate is a 1912- the last year that was undated, and the only porcelain in NY. Great number, too. With such a high number, the car could be a 1913, but it does not appear top be brand new. I hope this helps, Chris
  17. Neat picture. I would say the one on the left is a 1915 or 1916 Model T Ford Touring. The chassis on the right looks like an EMF (1909-1912), judging from the rear end assembly. Thanks for sharing, Chris
  18. It is not nickel-plated. I don't think it ever was. I appreciate the help, Chris
  19. Hi all, Does anyone have a list of vehicles that participated on the early Glidden Tour Revivals? I have a 1910 Model T Touring that was on one or several during that time, and would like to confiorm the date or dates. It was owned my Maynard Leighton of Maine at that time. Thanks for any help, Chris
  20. Wow, that was fast and easy (for me anyway). Thank you very much. Now does anyone need it? Thanks again, Chris
  21. Hi all, This switch measures 5 1/4" by 3". It has "190B" stamped on the back, and "4346" cast into the bakelite on the back. The back has a place marked for Ign, Bat, Tail, Speed, and Head. What's it from? Thanks, Chris
  22. Good call Layden, Tennessee started issuing their own plates in 1915. This is a pre-state issue, meaning the photo was taken before that. Hope this helps, Chris
  23. Great photo. I agree, it's a Flanders. Thanks for sharing, Chris
  24. I would say it is a Rambler, 1909 or 1910. Nice picture, great car. Thanks for sharing, Chris
