  1. Wasn't exactly what I was thinking of, but that answered a song question that I've had for decades, so thanks!
  2. It's on par with most Ford's and Merc's of that era I've found, at least up here. Will definitely agree that grill is oof
  3. That's what I figured. Dont' know why they wouldnt' say that it's not the original drivetrain. Not like going to Thunder Bay is a quick drive.
  4. Ok good to know. Was thinking it might be a mislabelled '67, but I dont' know enough about the differences to know if it's mislabeled or not.
  5. I mean with the price of gas, they're sounding like a good choice nowadays. Especially with gas right now being ~6$ a gallon
  6. Another one that's a good price (IMO), but I don't think it's original. Did the Satellite come with a 440 in 1966? Or is it the wrong year that's posted? Tried getting the data plate or any details from this but no response so feeling like a scam, but maybe others can shed some light. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/263771563479400
  7. So this one goes on about it being "Great vehicle for the discerning collector or Barracuda fan", but if my sources are right, the Cuda didn't come with a 440 in 1967? Anyone have any data on this? https://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details.html?adId=1689786615
  8. I wish this wasn't a day's drive away from me, because this is just my jam, even with that really aggressive looking grill. I've never seen a convertible form this era made by Buick. Like ever. Chevy products from this time period seem ot be rare around here, and a Buick less so. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars/winnipeg/51-buick-convertible-mint-condition/1693103622
  9. Another rare bird, rocking a 425 Super Rocket under the hood. Not a fan of the car, but it looks liek something you'd see in a music video in the 90's https://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details.html?adId=1691030557
  10. Normally I wouldn't post this model; they're pretty common up here at least. But they usually have something like a 327 or a 350 at most. I've never seen one with a 409 under the hood. If this is the real deal and original, this is a very rare bird https://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details.html?adId=1691070748
  11. Damn that' a good looking car. If it was up here for that price it'd probably disappear quick.
  12. Agreed. Straight line maybe, but if you had to turn it was like turning a semi. As for the OP, they let this sit for way too long. IMO it's scrap now. Maybe twenty years ago it could have been saved. But twenty years ago no-one was buying late 60's Biscayne's, even with high end specs
  13. If it was an original engine that would be better. And wish they were that cheap up here. Keep seeing Galaxies going for 30 to 50k for stuff that's half the price down south.
  14. Six banger and that colour aren't my jam, but ya that's a decent price considering Impala's stopped being affordable a long time ago
  15. Wow that is a model that you don't see every day....or every year for that matter.
  16. Seems a bit much for an AMC that isn't a Javalein, but maybe that's where the markets going now? Looks pretty good. Not really familiar with the AMC line
  17. Had an idea once of buying an old dealership building and getting into the restoration game, selling old cars for folks to enjoy. Sadly both of those items are way too expensive to indulge nowadays.
  18. Really finding that the 62-66's are starting to go the way Impala's did years ago. Two years ago you could find 390 convertibles for 25k in pristine condition, now it's hard to find even 352's like that.
  19. Now that's a nice car. Spending C2 Corvette money isn't for me, but it's not hard to see someone doing so
  20. Considering the area where they're posting from, I wish I could say I was surprised.
