  1. Do you need a radiator or hood? I have both.
  2. I thought the same thing as a possibility I sure hope not
  3. Good point…..I’ve had my 39 Buick for nearly 50 years and my 22 for 40 years. I’ve gone through periods of getting excited about working on them and I’m probably guilty of loosing track of who or where I ask questions too.
  4. I was just adding up how long I’ve own the 22 and moved it from storage location to storage location and it’s been 37 years wow how the time fly’s. I’ve had my 39 Buick since I was 16 and I’m approaching 65 but at least I got a few years to enjoy driving it around and a couple parades along with in our wedding before kids came along and it got parked. I’ve got a lot of catching up to do!
  5. I was just going back through some past posts to get myself back up to speed and I’m at a loss on what my original color was because the previous owner had partly disassembled my 22 and primered. The parts that haven’t been primed have an obvious terrible spray paint job.
  6. Another get post to follow. My 22 was missing the speedometer too. I’ve picked up two units so far off eBay in hopes of getting one to work.
  7. I’ll soon be going through these same steps on my 22-4-36 that’s been stored for way to long. It’s nice to see a history of helpful posted on just about anything I’ll need to do.
  8. I see your from Michigan what part of Michigan? I’m in Ovid MI which is north of Lansing. I’ve got a 22-4-36 I’ve been gathering some parts for but the engine is intact. Did you have any luck getting help to get it started?
  9. We’ll I didn’t find the hood handles and latches by themselves but I did find a complete mid 20s hood that had what I needed. I don’t want to remove them until I don’t have any other options so I’m kind of still looking.
  10. I’ve got the cover but missing one of the wing nuts. The wing nut slips through a hole in the cover and has a grove in it so a clip will keep it in place when the cover is taken off.
  11. Not sure if this is what your asking or not but the 6 indicates it’s a 6 cylinder and the 45 is the model number for the Touring model. Mine is is a 22-4-36 standing for 1922 4 cylinder Coupe.
  12. I didn’t realize they even had gauges I thought the fuel tanks had a built in reserve tank for emergency use
