  4. How do I find OldTownDodge to check with them?
  5. I have a replacement windshield regulator for my 1936 Dodge D2 sedan. What is the trick to getting it in place without breaking the new regulator? The old one came out, but only because it was broken. I have removed the gauge cluster, but it cannot be forced or fit up into place.
  6. The photo shows my set up. The passenger side end of the tube seems loosy goosy. The manual diagram suggests that there was a brackett stabilizing that end but your picture suggests otherwise. Maybe the connection to the pin needs beefing up?
  7. I am in need of the clutch release torque tube support bracket, and the to transmission bracket support pin, and tube spring and washer for '36 Dodge D2. I also need a right rear fender strut. Any help or advice is much appreciated. Greg Gladden gladden@airmail.net 713 443 6633
  8. Looking to buy at least one each (would like two each) "clock" springs that go in the window regulator and door latch mechanisms for a 1936 Dodge D-2 sedan. They were used for several years in Mopar cars and trucks. Left and right seem to be interchangeable. Greg Gladden 713-443-6633 Gladden@airmail.net Houston, Texas
  9. The tail lights for my 1936 dodge D2 sedan were disassembled for a paint job. I see that the ss bezel needs to be crimped on the housing. I am working on that. Any ideas are appreciated. But I do not see or understand how the retaining spring is held in place. There does not seem to be a ridge or slot to hold it mechanically. I am considering an industrial silicone adhesive if I can not figure it out. Help is appreciated Greg Gladden gladden@airmail.net 713 443 6633

  11. The stainless rings, lenses, and holding springs were removed for a paint job on my 1936 Dodge D2 sedan tail lights. I am unsure how the ss rings should be held in place and what is the correct process to instal the red lenses. I would think it would be simple and a necessary process in order to change the bulbs. If the ss rings were supposed to stay in place and the red glass lenses were removed and replaced by way of the holding springs, what holds the ss ring in place? I may need to reshape the rings? Any suggestions, thoughts, on instruction would be appreciated. Am I missing any parts? Greg Gladden gladden@airmail.net 713-443-6633

  18. Thank you. I will look in that direction.
  19. The panels on the dash: ashtray, radio cover, gages panel, glovebox door, all had decals that mimicked wood stripes. Many moons ago I saw them at a trade fair. The trim around dash and windows had a plastic like coating painted on that was meant to look like wood. I once saw (in Hemmings) that a guy near Houston offered that service but do not find him now. Any leads are appreciated. gladden@airmail.net 713-443-6633

  23. I am new to this group. I have a '36 D2 and had all the gauges "renewed". They returned the Ammeter missing the fuse holder that was on the back. Anyone have a replacement or a remedy? The system is all original six volt positive ground.
