Used to have a Roy Rogers series on TV here in the 50s , used to put my Roy Rogers outfit on and go to neighbours to watch as we couldn't afford to buy a TV and they hadn't started renting them. Good memory. Hi ho silver ! pilgrim

Pete , thanks for information mine dosnt have mat or card board , so will see if can obtain saw trunk lining on eBay about a year ago, before car arrived so will search again. Probably best best to keep her original , but may just fit a carpet and matching cover over , that can easily be removed. Cheers pilgrim

Hi Jon you probably think is this man an idiot ? Feeling one at present as still can't locate stamped numbers , just taken these photos , there are some numbers on side , but think are raised so probably not what I'm looking for . perhaps you could give indication from one of the photos were it should be. apologies from the idiot. pilgrim

Although My 53 special had a full restoration a few years ago ,my trunk is very basic and would like to upgrade it and would like to see any photos of original treatment , particularly luxury trim , wheel cover etc. I can then give them to trimmers many thanks in anticipation. pilgrim
