  1. What kind of plane is this? I know someone on here is a plane guy but I can't remember who it is. Thanks, Allen
  2. Is the yellow linkage just supposed to ride in the wide grove with just the tip? What is the purpose of the blue linkage? The picture was from before I lost reverse and first gear. Looks like the shift bushing/collar (red circle) has worn down. The end where the spring attaches (blue circle) has broken off. Linkage arm (yellow circle) has worn down. I can loosen the bolts and place the yellow linkage in between the red collar and it will stay shifting correctly for a few days then pop out again. I am trying to find some replacement parts but I have not had much luck yet.

  4. Also check the block using a straight edge to make sure there are no issues with it when you pull the head.

  12. Assuming I measure the bead seat to bead seat on the inside lip of the wheel it is only 4.5 inches. Guessing that is not 1940 Cadillac or LaSalle. Any guesses? Thanks for the link drwatson. I looked through it also and did not see any either.
  13. Tires are 7.00 - 16 not sure on wheel width yet.
  14. Rim is 16" I'll get tire size and wheel width tomorrow.
  15. Just wondering if this is a 1940 Cadillac wheel. I have seen a few pics online but they have caps on them. Thanks, Allen
