She told me to re-chrome and straighten, around $1600 for the pair. Includes shipping becasue of their deal with an auto parts store chain.

What does a vacuum ball do?

That's a great deal, for a resto or for an excellent parts car

Sorry- the bumpers are already on my car. I would have bought those fenders if I had space to store them. Are you missing bumpers completely, or are
yours crappy?
I did a lot of research re having them re-chromed; before I lucked out, I was going to go with Keystone. They have an agreement with some auto part stores where you drop them off and they deliver them back 3-4 weeks. I think they're in Wisconsin or Minny or thereabouts.
Believe it or not I was also considering those guys from the TV Show "Desert Valley Auto parts", or DVAP. Check out their website.

when I did my timing chain, we had a heck of a time getting it off. Put the old one back and it leaked badly- seems even a little prying with a screwdriver created gaps in the surface where the cover met the block- obviously pretty high pressure.I bought a new one from OPG with the seal already installed for $500. In hindsight I should have taken it to a machine shop and had it ground down smooth.
Live and learn.

I thought I sent you the phone # of a guy in Baltimore who parted out a sweet 66/ I took the bumpers for my 67 but he had 95% perfect front fenders as well as trunk lid, plus a lot of other stuff. His name is Vince...410 882 0184 Phone only- no e-mail. Easier to catch him after 4 but call him now- tell him the guy from Jersey , Sammy, who bought the bumpers, is a friend. He;s a good guy.

That's a great idea. Every time I see a Riv I ask the owner if he's a member. Can't believe how many aren't. I'd help you to get a North Jersey chapte.
Pm me and we'll meet at the Whiskey

Anyone have 2 front armrest supports ( I really only need the plastic bases, not the cushions) for a 67?
thx

Does anyone know if there's a source for armrests- the base- ( plastic, chrome plated), not the cushion? They're about 14" long and have a cut out for the door paddle handle.
I heard they were interchangeable with some other GM's but I can't find them.
Thx
