  1. I'm away for a week. When I get back I'll make a few calls Ken
  2. Do you have an automatic or manual trans? I believe the driveshaft is different for each. I'm familiar with the one for the automatic. It's a 2 piece shaft with a constant velocity joint connecting the 2. As well there is a support bearing assembly in about the center. The problem with these shafts is usually in the CVJ and the support bearing. The old grease dries out and the CVJ wears out. These CVJ's haven't been available for years. However a good driveline shop can usually adapt one from a modern assembly. You can use the same assembly from 61-63 Buick Specials and Skylarks. Not sure if the small Olds (F85??) from those years is the same. Ken
  3. Sorry. I forgot to post that this rack sold a year ago or more Ken

  10. Jack M Thanks for posting the great picture of your grandfathers 34 Dodge. It looks like it was fully loaded for the time. I've got a couple of 34 Dodges. They're one my favorites. Ken
  11. Tom I have a 1912 Oakland 40 touring that has the original Schebler Model L carb on it. It's been a wonderful carb for me. I restored my Oakland in the mid 80's and have toured around 20000 miles with it. Always using the Model L. It's the easiest brass car I own to start. 4 pulls of the crank to prime the cylinders and then I push the tickler on the coil and it always starts. I haven't had to adjust the carb for the last 20 years! Lots of power too. The adjustments can be a bit tricky but when you get it right, you don't have to touch it again. Ken
  12. Thanks Joe for the kind words. You also made the sale go well. We had 44 emails and a few phone calls from start to finish. That was great because we both knew exactly where we were at, in the whole transaction. The Reo's gone to a great home which was very important to my 90 year old Dad. I'm sure you will get the same enjoyment from the Reo that Dad got every time he looked at it, worked on it or drove it! Here's a few pics of the Reo leaving the west coast and heading to the east coast. Ken
  13. Thanks for all the info. It never occurred to me that it was a fuel vacuum tank. I'm just a youngster in the hobby, 44 years only of owning antique cars..... It's never to late to learn something. Ken

  18. Can't really say. I bought these for my 63. Maybe the 62 is different. I have a used one that I pulled off a 63. Pretty sure I compared these to it. Can't find it right now to check again. It's been about 10 years since I was actively playing with my Buick. Ken

  21. I've had a lot of trouble with the choke on the EE-14 carb on my car. Has anyone swapped over a Carter 512 used from 41-47? The better choke makes this an attractive idea. I guess the air cleaner might be a problem but will the linkage match up? My 120 is a 1935 but the engine is from a 37. Thanks Ken
  22. The wheels in pic 4 have found a new home. I'm still not sure what they fit. The others we still can't identify. We had a garage sale for the local club yesterday but nobody there could help. If anyone is interested and needs better pics I can send them. We'd like to find a new home for the rest of them soon or??? Ken
