It's easy to tell a Model A by the fuel tank on the cowl with the filler in the top. It might even be a good tank

Late 31 Henry had to get the fuel shut off out of the passenger compt. The 32 redesign was almost ready so he just rearranged the shut off to where the fuel line comes out of the firewall. Hence we have the indented firewall

Standard roadsters outnumbered DeLuxe 10 to 1 back in the days. You'd never know it by the ones that got restoed over the years and converted. One way to tell a convert it shouldn't have an oval speedometer if it's Deluxe -
I always hate it when they put the "come on" cheap price on the windshield to draw you in then you see the "DOWN"
