This photo of the family's sedan was taken in 1939 when my aunt was 2 years old. She recently found it and asked me about the car. Can anyone help me identify it?
Thanks guys. The indent for the fuel valve makes sense, I guess, but I remember turning off the gas valve under the dash. "Oh no", I said to my girlfriend, "we're out of gas out here in a deserted park. What now?" Hey, I was a teenager back then.
I'm an old guy but new here. My son recently bought a house in New Hampshire that has this old Ford body on his land. At first I thought it is a Model A, but since I restored a 1930 coupe years ago I don't remember that recessed area of the firewall that has what looks like a fuel valve. (I wish I had not sold that rumble seat coupe!) Can you identify what body this is?
