  1. Interesting that you posted the exact same photograph I posted a few minutes before.
  2. Another one from my glass plate negative archive for those Pierce aficionados.
  3. From a glass plate negative in my archives. 1920 California license plate. Should be easy to identify.
  4. From a glass plate negative in my archives.
  5. Eureka, CA Revere Hotel mid-teens. Here are a few period automobiles to identify.
  6. Here are the other Packard wool striped upholstery fabric samples that Bill Hirsch used to stock. They just might have enough left of one of them for your 1932 Packard project. Reference the R/PS numbers if you call or email them. Worked for me.
  7. Photo of my original material next to the best Bill Hirsch match that I just ordered.
  8. ordered samples of several years ago. They just happened to have 12.5 yards of the closest match to my original fabric which I ordered right away. I didn't ask, but they might have other colorways still available even though they are not advertised on their website anymore.
  9. SMS didn't even come close with their samples when I sent them a piece of my Laidlaw original fabric. I just called Bill Hirsch auto on Friday to see if they had any of the Packard stripe fabric left that I had
  10. I need the same type of Laidlaw broadcloth for my 1937 Lincoln Judkins Berline if a source is identified. Bill Hirsch had a close match at one time, but of course I didn't order any when it was available. SMS didn't even come close with their samples.
  11. Another great day to be out touring in Northern California.
  12. Just let me know what areas you want photos of and I can take as many as you like
  13. I had Steve's resilver the reflectors from my 1937 Lincoln and I am very happy with the results. He even fixed a 2 inch split in one of reflectors that isn't even noticeable after resilvering. www.stevesautorestorations.com or call 503.665.2222
  14. Where did you get the information that Cunningham's V8 was built by Northway? Every mention of Cunningham that I have read over the years states that their Volney Lacey designed V8 was built in house at their factory in Rochester NY from 1916 - 1932.
  15. I just replaced my starter. Only two bolts and it came out in one piece. Easiest starter I have ever replaced.
  16. Here are a couple of engine photos, a close-up of the air cleaner bracket and splash pan on my Continental.
  17. The inside of the trunk lid on my 1937 Lincoln Judkins Berline appears to be leather or a good quality artificial leather.
  18. The non fork and blade Lincoln V12 first came out in the Lincoln KA in 1933 to replace the 385 cubic inch V8 and it was roughly the same displacement at 382 cubic inches and 125 horsepower. It was enlarged to 414 cubic inches and 150 horsepower in 1934 when the 448 cubic inch 150 horsepower fork and blade V12 was discontinued. 1932 KA - 125hp V8 385ci 1932 KB - 150hp V12 448ci 1933 KA - 125hp V12 382ci 1933 KB - 150hp V12 448ci 1934 - 1939 all K model Lincolns - 150 hp V12 414ci
  19. I agree on the poor exterior color choice. The blue velour interior upholstery is another poor choice, not to mention the blue wrapped steering wheel. All of these poor choices during restoration devalue this car way more than the 1934 engine swap.
  20. A drop of clock oil on all of the pivot points and cleaning the contacts got the Seth Thomas electrically wound clock running again in my 1930 Lincoln. And, since your clock was cleaned, oiled and running a year ago that is likely all you need.
  21. My 1930 Lincoln Model L still has priming cups, but this was the last year Lincoln had them. I've never needed to use them.
  22. Humboldt County. https://www.visitredwoods.com/listing/covered-bridges-of-humboldt-county/132/
