  1. nope...it does not seal at all..it touches the header but wind blows through it...I'll loosen the 6 bolts and try to re align...
  2. thats a good question..my AC Delco with the same part number does not have this port...I assume that it will work in the TC!

  4. ok..here we go...removed my old black cloth top and put the new old top exactly where the old one was seated...had to adjust the height of the pulldown motor for about 10mm...everything looks good so far...but, as you can see in the pics, it does not perfectly sit ..played around with the adjustment screws but not sufficient - there is just too much of a gap between the top and the receiving surface. it looks perfect from the outside! any ideas on how to make it fit again?

Well, I looked at Ghostmostys post and decided to drive those 71 miles from West Hollywood to San Bernardino..took 90 minutes...another 3 hours to get the stuff that I needed...back home by 6pm...with a nice sunburn.. <THANK YOU for pointing out that TC, Ghostmosty!! I was rewarded with a brand-new black cloth top! and door handles, etc...tail lights, rear reflector...scratched my perfect leather inside of course!.. if somebody wants some more parts, there is plenty left! check out the pics
  7. ordered new TPS, wanted to install, just to see that the plug does not fit at all! The TPS module plug looks the same on all variations that come up in Rockautos search for the V6 Mitsubishi Engine but my connection is different...3 pins but different shaped plug...because the installed TPS is the one that you can usually find in the 4cyl Turbo Engine.... called Airtex : they told me that all these different part numbers are technically all the same inside and are interchangeable - so if you have to change the TPS, look at the connection first!

  9. Thanks to Digger914, I am researching Air Idle Control modules...and came across some interesting no name brands on ebay and amazon. I was wondering if I could trust those very cheap versions compared to the expensive brand parts... thoughts:
  10. justed closed her up again..air intake plenum gasket was not correctly in place so there was a huge gap...vac leak fixed...but got codes: 12, 14, 42 twice! I have no idea why it keeps ciming up with that MAP sensor code...replaced it with a new one, all connections are perfect.. 42..auto shutdown relay driver circuit....never had that before either....btw...no check engine light .... runs a little rough now but still have to take a little test drive.. engine 2.MOV
  11. Hemi! thanks for the fast reply as usual!!..I did not let it run for longer than 1.5 minutes so no, op. temp was not reached.engine light did not come on..yes, got the 195 degree thermo. I think your assumption towards vac leak is correct - will have to check later today! thanks... ( will report back)
  12. got my remanufactured Nikki Flow injectors today ( ebay) and installed them...car starts and goes to over 2000rpm..even after almost 2 minutes, rpm does not go down any idea why? ( check video!) IMG_8272.mp4IMG_8272.mp4

  15. great...looks like they send me Lucas injectors ( part D3154BA) found them on ebay for 25 bucks less than I paid for at rockauto. never even heard of lucas injectors before..they look like standard motor product injectors... Can someone tell me if these are total crap or better than the niehoff injectors?! I have no idea...
  16. Well, here we go again..decided to get the Rockauto closeout sale on 6 BWD/Niehoff injectors..received today and they dont have the chimney and are numbered 2357.....return them>? or will they work?

  18. welcome! in my opinion, the best place to look for parts is rockauto.com http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/chrysler,1990,tc+maserati I ordered everything I ever needed, never had an issue, superfast shipping... mechanics...yeah, well...I try to do as much as I can myself...( btw, I am in the Weho area)

  20. anyone ever even attempted to use a 6 pin OBD1 to OBD2 converter to read codes on a OBD2 device?
  21. another way to make sure the latch aligns perfectly is taking out the grille, letting the hood down slowly and look through the actual hole from underneath with a mirror - you will be able to exactly determine the point of contact , how far it needs to be adjusted and aligned!. that was the easiest fix for me.
  22. update time.... so, for a week, everything was peachy....drove about 100 miles since installing the new pump...today, car died in idle...started up right away, smelled gas...kept driving home and stopped another 10 times at lights and intersections...idle was ok, not rough or fluctuating... damn, and I thought its fixed...every day, something new thoughts>? injectors?
