    I am looking for a better than average 6 volt car battery. The last one I purchased in 2011 form Interstate is now failing. I am looking for one with good crank, but is also must fit inside my battery carrier. I don not believe an Optima battery would work. Any suggestions? Thanks

    A Buick dealership not supporting the brand? I would imagine their new car sales are limited if they hide the Buicks in the back of the lot. Someone should alert Brain Sweeney-Vice President of Buick, GMC Sales & Service.

    Is the solution removing the padding?

    I am having trouble collapsing the convertible top to my phaeton. It does not appear to have any binding issues, but it seems like the irons will not collapse fully. The issue many be the fact that there is alot of fabric to fold between the irons. Is there anyone who has had the same issue, and if so, how did you correct it? I have attached a picture of the maximun it will close. I refuse to try to push it any more. Thanks.

    I have one car with the Pertonix and one without. Both on different engines as well. They both work very well, but I like the reliability of the electronic ignition. That is my opinion.

    Why do you think so many dealers/sellers spend their time advertising cars for sale and then do not state the sales price?? Do they think INQUIRY is going to get them more interest in the car? I have never made, nor will ever make an inquiry because my first belief is the fact that the car must be grossly over-priced or secondly, feel they are testing the waters and may be ashamed of the price. Are there any dealers/sellers that feel this is a successful approach?

    On 1941 Buick's with 16 inch wheels they call for 4" whitewalls, while 15 inch wheels call for 3 3/4". In my opinion the more the better.

    I purchased a 6 volt jump start several years ago on ebay. It was made by Battery Butler. I believe it was made in England. Not sure if they are still available, but I carry mine all the time.

    Thanks for all of the suggestions. I purchased EZ Cool insulation and will install that tomorrow. The bags of ice would only work so much. I will update as soon as I have tested it.
