Las Vegas Car Museum?

There is also the Carroll Shelby museum in Vegas. They have a nice assortment of early Shelby vehicles, up to today's current offerings. You can also tour their production facility where they are building Cobras and various new vehicles. They give guided tours twice a day Monday through Friday and one tour on Saturdays. There is no charge for entry. Guided tours take about 90 minutes.

I was there last May and they were building the last of the Hertz Shelby rental cars.

Also, plus one on the Quad museum. This is the collection formerly known as the Collection at Imperial Palace. There is an entry fee, but many of the hotels have coupons for free admission.

 Have fun....

Every Friday night ( 5 pm - ? ) & Sunday morning (7am - 10 ish) an impromptu car show / get together  @ Craig & Rancho Dairy Queen.

You never know what will show up, rat rods  to the A. C. D. cars. The oldest this year so far was an 1918 (?) Buick touring car.

100 - 400 cars may show up, every week it is different.

We were in Vegas last April and enjoyed this place as much or better than the Linq car collection.

Free to visit a small grouping of cars:   http://www.countskustoms.com/

Not a car museum but still very cool - you need to make reservations, best to go at night when they are lit:  http://www.neonmuseum.org/

Then go over and drive through Old Downtown Vegas where there are many restored neon signs.  My recommendation is to skip Fremont Street Experience. Think drunks, tattoos, more drunks, overcrowded, tourist trap.

Another interesting place to visit:  http://themobmuseum.org/
