Pre1898
Wanting to purchase one 16" artillery style wheel as found on 34 Studebaker. 5 x 5-1/2" lug pattern. I have three 17" wheels I would consider selling or trading in exchange for one last 16" I require. Any help would be appreciated. E-mail for more dimensions or photos please. dusty1313@cox.net . Pre1898
Can anyone please explain the processes involved in chroming the center spokes "only" on these rims ? Was the center spoke section chromed and then riveted back to the painted outer rim or was the center spokes painted in some form of chrome paint at the time ?If you have his contact details I'll sure try and track him down. Nice set of wheels maybe he would sell his spare ?Thanks.
nvonada
I don't know for sure but I would bet the whole thing is chromed and the outer rim painted. It is a really nice look! Edited April 15, 2014 by nvonada (see edit history)

Pre1898
My set of three rims are all riveted together the outer to the inner rim. I was just curious if the finish was done before they were assembled then ? Bet they were sharp looking when new !!THE ONES ON MY 32 UNBOLTED---THE CENTERS CAME OUT-HAD TO LOOK HARD TO FIND THEN
