FOUND IN THE RAFTERS OF AN OLD BARN. ABOUT 45 INCHES IN TOTAL LENGTH. BUCKET IS ABOUT 9.5 ACROSS. BAR LOOKS FORGED, NOT CAST.TOP OF BUCKETS MARKED DEPRESS BEAM HEAD LAMP. REMOVED ONE LENS TO READ IT:

1. AT BOTTOM (6 O'CLOCK) DEPRESS BEAM HEAD LAMP C M HALL LAMP CO. DETROIT MICH.

2. AROUND EDGE OF LENS: (TOP) DESIGNED FOR MAZDA LAMP NO. 1110

3. AROUND BOTTOM EDGE OF LENS: PAT. APPLIED FOR MADE IN USA 8 1/2 X9 5/16 PART 7952

Wouldn't Austins have Lucas lamps? Since these were made in the USA, I think more like Chrysler or DeSoto.

My book says that the lens size fits

The connecting bar is not Durant. The 30-31 Durants had 3 mounting holes each side.....

Wouldn't Austins have Lucas lamps? Since these were made in the USA, I think more like Chrysler or DeSoto.

I probably should have said "American" Austin,the forerunner of the Bantam, but I assumed it would have been understood. Anyway, it was just a guess.

American Austin had a stamped bar with a pointed down area in the center - they used Parabeam lamps, and another brand I can't remember but it was not Depress beam.

Oldtinpusher, Do you still have this set. The lenses will fit lots as indicated, but the bar is NOT Plymouth.

The bar is not 1931 Dodge Brothers passenger car.

The bar in this picture of a 1930 Huppmobile looks about right.

I second that it is a Hupp.
