Help to identify this car please

KRK Sr.

Recommended Posts

This photo was taken at a repair garage in Mt. Holly PA. sometime in the 50's. I can not identify the "barrel" type hood. Help please? I think I can read McIntyre in the grill, but the grill shell and hood lines don't match any photos I can find. Thanks, Karl

KRK, Sr. is the passenger's side fender an optical delution? The inner fender panel seems to be missing. On the right side the inner panel seems to come out almost to the front tip of the fender. If it were shaped as the driver's side is I don't think you would see as much of the flower garden and the reflection under the fender? Can you take another picture from a differant angle?

NO! I always photograph only the good side. However if I get the mufflerbearing repaired in my time machine I will see if I can get a view of the other side with the Firestones up. There was a large private collection in Mount Holly Springs that was sold off in the 80's, could this be part of that collection? Nearchoc. good observation on the inner fender being missing. I had not noticed that before or is it?? Karl

Thanks!! I've been looking for a set of muffler bearings for two years (my car takes two because of the unusual length of the muffler). Can you help me locate some blinker fluid?

Aaah. I didn't even think to look further into that site. It's one-stop shopping! I've found a few other items that I've been looking for. I didn't even know they were still making those engine oil by-pass kits, or the Knuetsen Valves.

I did notice, though, that they're trying to sell "seasonal tire air"! What is that? Some sort of joke?

West, thanks for the link to all the other McIntyre info, I guess at this point my only other question would to try and figure if this is a 2 or 4 cylinder model and the year of manufacture. The standard catalog shows the 1915 models with balloon tires, not the buggy type in the photo. Gas lights went out in what year? thanks, Karl
