R W Burgess
My friend Pat Paquette of the Bull Run Region found this grill, but does not know what it fits. Any ideas? Wayne
R W Burgess
She says it was found in an old Ford dealership.
R W Burgess
It's NOS guys. Last picture, last chance! Pat told me some kind of an AACA donation may be in order, if a sale is completed after the identification of this piece.
gwells
I'm thinking Ford tractor, but that's not my "field" so I am not at all certain. A WAG it is . . .

1937hd45
Yes, it is a 1940-41 Ford One Ton truck grill for a conventional cab.

2muchstuff
Thanks for the help everyone! This nice NOS part will now go on Ebay with a portion of the proceeds going to the AACA library. I hope there is at least one 1940/41 Ford 1-ton truck out there in need of a nice straight grille. PatP.S. Thanks Wayne for pushing me to try the forum again!
R W Burgess
Neat name, Pat.The "2muchstuff" that I have would be called junk, I'm afraid. Thanks again for the help, guys.Wayne
2muchstuff
Thank you 1937hd45 and Wayne Burgess! I put this grille on Ebay and it sold with Buy-it-Now in a matter of hours! So...a check for 20% of the sale price will be forwarded to the AACA Library. My garage now has a bit more space, somewhere in California an old truck is getting a new grille, my wallet now has a few extra dollars in it and the library will have a few more dollars to further the hobby. This is what I would call win-win!!! I have a few more mystery pieces of sheet metal that I will try to post in the next week or two. These should be easy because they have part numbers - but not FORD part numbers, so I have no clue how to look them up. Same deal with apply for the AACA Library. Thanks again, Pat
