Tom Laferriere Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 This is a really fun car. Trying to figure out what hubcaps go on these wheels. More pictures can be seen on my site.
55PackardGuy Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 I like the way you're painting the engine from the bottom up. Still has that great crusty "period" look, but not raggedy, so to speak. What's the history on this car? Never seen anything like it, but then I'm not a big pre-War guy (especially pre "Great War!").Take care.P.S. Don't show the hair-raising "child seat" pic to the officials! Great shot, BTW. A ride-along mechanic, just like in the good old days (I mean you as mechanic, of course--you are in that seat, correct?)
Guest imported_MrEarl Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 She's beautiful. Oh and nice car too!!!
serb Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 I think this qualifies as a Girls/Buicks picture. Nice lookin' car, beautiful Lily.....who is the rogue in the mechanic's seat??Heh, heh!By the way Tom, geat website. Stevo
K8096 Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Are those 20" wheels? My guess is they're either '31 Buick or possibly Pierce Arrow.

Mark Shaw Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Tom, Your Buick wheels appear to be from a 1931. The hub caps will have a B in the center.Mark Shaw
Tom Laferriere Posted September 21, 2006 Author Posted September 21, 2006 I have one of those hubcaps with a B, but it is way too small. See attached. Is there another type of Hubcap with that would fit this wheel. Is this wheel Buick? Thanks
Mark Shaw Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 The cap for artillery wheels is small, but the cap for the wire wheels is much larger.Mark Shaw

Tom Laferriere Posted December 7, 2006 Author Posted December 7, 2006 These look the same as I have? Can you give me a dimension?
Tom Laferriere Posted April 16, 2007 Author Posted April 16, 2007 Still need some help with these wheels. Trying to figure out what hubcap goes here. Thanks
