Shop Rat
Unless they are going down the canyon trail at the Grand Canyon. Then a smart a$$ is the one you want to be riding, rather than a dumb a$$.
Peter J.Heizmann
Matt...Welcome to the AACA Forum. Please disregard 1937-hd and Shop Rat's uncalled for responses to your query.Wayne will be on board, hopefully soon, to handle this if he opts.Click on Regions & Chapters On-Line. Shop Rat
Mine was just a play on words and not meant to be rude in any way. My mom and dad went down the canyon trail years ago and were amazed at how smart the mules were.
SixtySix
I am in no way offended by their responses. I would have responded the same way if another member posted in the same wording. Just remember, what goes around, comes around.
Shop Rat
Thanks SixtySix. Peter says that it is okay as long as we do not "hi-jack" each others threads and change the subject in them. He says that we need to start another thread referencing the one we are commenting "off subject" to.As far as, what goes around comes around, ! I am generally seen driving around in a VW powered rail buggy when the weather permits [no hurricanes]. The car I am rebuilding is a 1966 VW Beetle Convertible, but I have much love for the Pre-War American Iron [fav. goes to the Buicks of the 35-40 model years].I generally see a group of guys parked outside of Perkins on my drive into work on Saturdays. Unforantually, Saturdays I have to be at Harley Davidson by 8:30am.You seem to be pretty active in the Naples/Marco region. How has the membership been. I last attended a meeting about three years ago, when I had my '60 Elcamino.I must go to work. Take care, Matt
