nearchoclatetown
It seemed like the year of the '70-'72 LT1 Corvette this year. Lots of them. And lots of gray hair, too. Great race car display, love that SR2.
R W Burgess
Was that this weekend, Doug? I'm ashamed to say I've never been to the big show. My Corvette has, though. You see, the original owner was a purebred Corvette enthusiast, whereas I have too many interests and not enough time....sound familiar? nearchoclatetown
Joe, you've got to get your priorities straight. Last week it was too wet to go to Mt. Gretna art show, but yesterday wasn't too hot to go to Macungie Wheels of Time.
Guest imported_jmarsicano
What is the Macungie Wheels of Time show? Never heard of that one.
nearchoclatetown
Wheels of Time is a local {to Macungie- Allentown} car club that puts on an excellant street rod/muscle car/ hotrod show every year just as big as the regular Macungie show. Just as well organized and Smittey's French Fries to boot. See you at Soda Jerk this Sat.?

Peter J.Heizmann
Hi, Doug...And Ron's results with "Judy's '60 Chevy" are nothing short of one beautiful restoration. Talk about one determined couple to create "twin-era '60 Chevy Impala's" is mind boggling to me. To all hobbyist' out there, you are in for a great experience when you see these Chevy's. Regards, Peter J.

Ron Green
Hey, maybe I'll see you all on Saturday? I did make it to Corvettes at Carlisle however they shun me like a Quaker since mine is a custom (3 off). Broke the Amphicar's water transmission (gear bearing bushing) and ended up stranded on an island for 3 hours. Had to be towed by boat from the island to shore. Been busy rebuilding tranny and hopefully will be back on the road / water for the weekend. Looking forward to seeing the twins!
nearchoclatetown
Joe, Soda Jerk is in Hummelstown, east main st. All afternoon 'til dark. Watch out for Smokey if you bring the sprinter. I'll have to take the Blue Electra, cause the DB's tore apart.
randjflo60
Update,Interior trim is complete except the door panels aren't on yet and brakes aren't bled yet so, obviously no road test yet. We are going to PenDot tomorrow to get it registered and an antique plate. We are cutting it close. I hope we make it!! Doug, Since I am retired I have spent the whole summer (and spring and winter and fall) in the garage.
randjflo60
Hello Mr. "Uncle" Pete,Thanks for the kind words. At this point, I need all the encouragement I can get. This car has fought me every step of the way.I think it would look even better if there was a red TR-6 sitting between us. And Ron, there would be room for an amphi in there too. Take careRon
