greenie
Picked up these REO items at the Macungie Truck Show. The gauge cluster still has most of the wiring harness attached including the headlight switch. The outside door handle is marked “1934”. Can anyone confirm the year and model? Will try to connect these with a REO owner. Thanks.
oldford
That door handle looks earlier than 1934. Maybe early to mid 20's. My 22 Reo has a T handle similar but it is black bakelite rather than hammered nickel. Frank
wayne sheldon
I would guess the door handle to be from about 1925 to 1927. It is almost certainly earlier than the 1929 Reo I used to have. If it is Reo at all.
E_Johnson
I'm pretty sure the door handle and escutcheon is 1926-27 Hupmobile Model A (six cylinder). For many years, my father owned a pristine, original/unrestored low-mileage 1927 Hupmobile Model A sedan. Oldtech
I think the tag belongs to the gage cluster. Looks like the 34 flying cloud setup except the oil ga goes to 80 lbs instead of 50, so I suspect truck.
