I will be bringing my 1932 Studebaker #25 Indy car replica and there will be three other Studebaker Indy cars: Mike Cleary's blue #18 car, the Indy Speedway Museum's maroon #22 car, and the white #34 car previously owned by Brooks Stevens and later by August Grasis but now owned by the Studebaker National Museum.   Virgil Exner Jr. is expected to attend.  I don't know anything about cars in the other classes.  Hope to see some of you there!

I have been to this event before and there was a good selection of cars and the setting was very nice . The Oliver Mansion, which is where the event is held, is next door the the Studebaker Museum. Notre Dame is not far away so one can also check out the golden dome and touchdown Jesus.

The $20 dollar fee is cheap entry. I think my brother may be bringing a car.

if you attend, try and grab a bite to eat at Tippecanoe Place. Clem Studebaker build it in the 1880s and that residence now has dining options and hosts private parties. A fun place to grab a bite if you’re in town.

We’re on our way to South Bend, Indy car in the enclosed trailer. The remains of Hurricane Beryl are in front of us.  Rain I can deal with, just hope the winds aren’t too strong. Our Ford ExpeditionMax with twin turbo V6 is getting about 9 mpg pulling the big box.

With luck, it won’t rain on Saturday. Come to the Concours if you are in the area!

What did you think of the show and grounds? I seen your car on Saturday and it looked nice. There was a rather diverse display of cars at the show.

It was a wonderful event and a beautiful day for it!  I had my 1917 Cole there and this event is one of my favorite Concours events.   The grounds are perfect and lots of great people.   I also like how they have different classes every year which changes the cars up.

May be an image of 8 people, golf cart, car and hood ornament

Your Cole is a beautiful car. Do not want to wander with this thread but could post a few more pictures of it please? Thank you in advance.

I didn't take any more at the event, but here are some pictures.  It has a convertible body by Springfield and the window frames fold down into the body in minutes.   You can see this side is all the way open with the other side having the windows up.  It is a very spacious car and also still has the original silk tapestry interior.  image.png.54024dfc7272c732f3646ea49ca0152e.png1917toursedan.jpg.1754d81a78d3fa6ee8c0be432216806b.jpg

Here are some more photos from the Copshaholm event.  There were 88 cars in a number of classes ranging from race cars to Packards to Mustangs to MGs.  We had four Studebaker Indy cars there.  Virgil Exner Jr attended.  As a boy, he rode with his father in car #22 from Detroit to Lime Rock, CT where the car was raced and then driven home again.  I photographed him in the same passenger seat.  William "Steve" Stevens, the son of car designer Brooks Stevens and builder of 3500 Excalibur cars, was there with his wife Sally.  It was a good day!  We drove 900 miles each way with my Indy car in a 20 ft enclosed trailer averaging 9.4 mpg with my Ford Expedition Max.
