rocketraider
Dave, what city was the picture taken? I'm guessing somewhere in New York state, and sometime just before or during the Great Depression. Impressive rig for those times. Panel looks 28 or 29 Ford A? Back when they had to beat the bushes, press the flesh and kiss babies!
JamesR
Look at the size of those speaker horns! The "Against War" (and its profiteering) movement was very big in the twenties and thirties. I found out in later years that my grandfather was sympathetic or even involved in it, mostly because of the horrors he'd experienced in WW1. Thanks for the photo.

5219
The sign on the front of the trailer says "Re-elect Pres. Roosevelt". Had to be 1936.
rocketraider
I couldn't zoom enough to see Pres so figured might have been gubernatorial a few years earlier. Great pic!
Dave Mellor NJ
I don't know the location. It's definitely a 29. I don't know if they offered a sedan delivery in 28. It says , "vote for Phillips for Congress
