Leif in Calif
That's why I spend time on this forum: interesting cars! I don't know much about Gardner, but I do remember one was used by Cannonball Baker!
wayne sheldon
Not bad, not bad at all! That might even be the correct Gardener radiator ornament! I looked at one for sale about thirty years ago. A bit nicer somewhat restored condition, but this one I actually like better. I almost talked a friend into buying that one years ago.
prewar40
My connection to this car is I'm the head of the Gardner Car Club and 8 years ago I saw it. If you're the next owner please register at my website gardnermotorcars.com I'll add to his description - A 1926 6A six cylinder Lycoming 2S engine. One of the selling points was four-wheel enclosed brakes, rare for a car built in late 1925. New this was priced at $1,595 FOB St. Louis. l found the car very complete and almost an HPOF car. My guess is that it had a repaint many years ago. Based on my photos and the ones in his ad I don't think it has been driven in years but that's another guess. I hope it finds a good home. 6
Mike P G
Is this still for Sale?
John_S_in_Penna
12 minutes ago, Mike P G said: Is this still for Sale? Mike, we don't know. The ad is still posted on Facebook, and cars of this era don't have a huge following, so it's likely that you'll find it still for sale. Contact the owner through Facebook. This part of the AACA Forum is the "Not Mine" section, where car fans merely post cars from other sites that we think are interesting. No one here owns it. All the best to you in your quest! ------------------------------------------------- CORRECTION: The ad is marked "Sold." Did you get it, Mike? Mike P G
No, i found it but it was already sold. I have 3 other Gardner's and I wouldn't of minded adding this one to them. Thanks for the info.
