Lars Kneller
What bit do I need to remove this bolt? It is about 3/8" inside diameter. Thanks.
NailheadBob
I believe you need a “triple square” socket driver I purchased mine from Snap-On but I think I have seen them at Farm & Fleet in the auto tool section Bob
31nash880
Is that also called a spline drive?
rodneybeauchamp
Think these are known as Torx drive. There are special drive bits required to undo them. Ensure the drive bit is square to the head otherwise they can easily be damaged by rounding off the points. Ask me how I know this 😳😳😳😳 Rodney. 😀😀😀😀😀

human-potato_hybrid
I was going to say triple square but the angles look sharper than that. Maybe triple square would work though.

60FlatTop
That particular one might pose more of a problem since it looks like the wrong tool already was used. If you are luck you might get a grip with one of this style extractors. Irwin makes them in the US. Pretty handy when you are the second guy on the job.
