Calling all 1940 Buick experts ..... Choke heat tube question

I just got a new addition to the library; it’s an original master parts list for 1928-1940. The answer appears to be no choke tube insulator was used.

We may not have a definitive answer for you @Talarico8447.  My search of the parts manual finds photos of the heat tube insulator on the V8's but not the straight 8's.  Here's a shot from a parts manual that covers 1928-1954, again, no mention of an insulator earlier than 1953:
