It was called Kommissbrot (Army Bread) because of its identical shape to the common bread used by the German army at the time.

It was the first German small car to be produced on an assembly line. The windscreen could be opened upwards to provide the passengers with a fresh breeze.

In total, about 15,000 cars were made between 1924 and 1928.[

With the 10 HP single-cylinder 500 cc engine, the top speed was 60 km/h.
