Did they make any of these with the 455? I know there are no four speeds.

380 455 cars, 1420 350 cars. There are significant differences between the two. Plus the two actual Indy Pace Cars, the 92 Delta 88 convertible Pace Cars, the four-door built for the Hulman family, and other Indy support vehicles.

 

The 455 cars are considered the real 1974 Hurst/Olds. The 350 cars came about in order to be able to sell the 1974 Hurst/Olds in California.

 

My first thought is there isn't $13k here especially with the paint issues, but I'll be watching this one.

I wonder what class or category the trophy was for.  I doubt it was for best original paint job.

Good question. Another good question is: Why do people spend money on tinted windows and aftermarket mag wheels when their car needs paint or body work?
