Health forces sale 1948 Chyrsler New Yorker

334ci Straight 8 - 4 speed Fluid drive semi automatic - No power Steering or brakes - The car was bought when I had the ability to to work on it but now I can. The body has only two dents in the rear fenders. - And it runs great, drives straight, brakes were replaced as were the shocks. Tires (radials) are brand new. It still has the original headliner and rear carpeting. Now she has her issues such as the fog lights, radio, clock and horns don’t (but they do work) The car is 6 volt Positive ground system, radiator has zero issues and the car runs cool and doesn’t overheat. I have documentation for a lot of its history that I will provide as well as some spare parts and a connection to where they are available. The car is 76 years old and a survivor. She really draws attention wherever it goes. Asking $10K OBO No trades. Cash talks! A beautiful car that benefits, in my opinion, from the absence of wide whitewall tires.  It appears that the passenger side tires might be WWW, but the elevation view of the driver's side with black tarrhs is really sharp.

This would be a nice hobby car for $6,000 or so. Enough with this nonsense of these cars being offered for $10,000 to $20,000.  This is a neat car but it’ll be hot in the summer and no power accessories.  So it’s in competition for $ from still millions of collector cars from the 1950s on.

I like the ad.

It's a Mopar, but it's still a (allegedly) nice-running eight that you could drive as you improve the cosmetics.

I think $8K is in the ballpark.

Biggest question is what are the bottom cushions of the front and rear seats like? if poor or torn etc then the cost for the highland plaid material if you can get any would be considerable. Neat car, I love the 1946-48 Chryslers with their die cast wrap around grilles.
