55BuickSpecial
Yesterday I was driving my Buick and I started to smell gas and when I parked I saw a long trail of gas from my car with a significant amount coming out. I inspected the whole car and it is coming from the engine bay and primarily from this one part below. I am hoping that I just need to tighten it or get a new gasket, but if anyone knows anything about this happening to their car, or if I would have to replace the whole part please let me know. I am going to try to tighten it and also take the top off to see if I need to replace the gasket. Also if any one knows which part this is please let me know. Thank you. Pete Phillips
You need to investigate the problem a lot further than you have so far, if you want any help from this group. Could be fuel line leak, fuel pump leak, fuel filter leak, carburetor leak, etc.
