American car exhibition in Lavaur 2023 (France)

Recommended Posts

Hello, last weekend we went to a big American car show in the town of Lavaur in the south of France.

We went there with my parents' 1941 Buick Eight Special 46S and with my 1978 Dodge Monaco police.

There were about 800 cars all weekend, and we went there on Sunday.

here are some pictures :)

Thanks again for posting. You guys really know how to put on a show!! In my parts there may be 100 cars at a decent show but thats about it. Boredom hits me quickly and I usually leave within a couple of hours of getting there. With all the food, flea market and music you have I would want to stay all day!!

Much as I love your guy's appreciation for American cars as the photos all prove, I'd like to see more photos of your home market cars.  Many of the cars from France were never sold in the United States or Canada, and the ones that were sold here new are rarely seen at shows.  Citroen pulled out of the market in 1974, and Peugeot in 1991, which only left Renault after their purchase of AMC.  And after the buyout by Chrysler in 1987, the Renault line was slowly phased out by the mid-1990's.

Thank you 8E45E ;) , I am a big fan of American cars and America. in America I like everything, cars , truck , the mailboxes, the roads, the road signs, the architecture of the houses, the metal stairs on the side of the big buildings, ....

And I also like to share with you what I see in France, the cars, the streets, ... :)

I will soon do a little report on the exhibition of the Renault 5 Alpine club in our region of France that my godfather organized :) .
And on July 2 I'm going to an exhibition of old cars (French, English, American, Italian, German, ...), and I will also put photos of this exhibition.
Near my house, we very often come across Citroën 2 cv, Renault 4L, Peugeot 504 flatbed (many 504 flatbeds are still used by farmers in the fields) on the road.

I also noted that every day on our roads there are a lot of French cars from the 1990s / 2023s on our roads, in a parking lot where there are 15 cars there will be 10 French cars.

In Sebastien's defense, this WAS an American car show. He's shared plenty of French/Euro cars with us from other shows, along with buildings, landscapes, and other architecture.

I always look forward to his picture posts.

Bravo, jeune ami!😎

Thank you very much rocketraider ! :)

Yes it was an American show with American cars, that's why there was no French car (there was only a modified Peugeot 403) ;)

I still have two new topics/posts to create, and I'll start them today if I have time.

There will be a new subject special Renault 5 Alpine (this is the club where my godfather is registered), with landscapes from my home

And the second new subject is an American car show (like this one in Lavaur, but this will be in an American restaurant in Labége) :)
