1928 Chrysler Model 52 4 cylinder - looking for a starter

I got my starter for a 22 Chandler on ebay. Cross reference with other cars to see what may be original and fit your car. Chances on it being used by another make is high. My 22 Chandler came with a Bosch American starter but I ended up with another brand that was used on the 23 Chandlers.

For all the bad things people say about Ebay you can find some good stuff.

On facebook's "Australian Chrysler side valve trading" post, a guy called Tony Zancola has advertised a lot of Chrysler 4 Cylinder stuff, maybe he has some stuff you can use. It will be a pity if it all goes to scrap as this old Chrysler stuff is very hard to find.

This is is his post below.

Anyone around Toowoomba that's interested in 26, 27, 28 Chrysler 4 banger parts let me know. I think the red gearboxes are six cyl. The motors are for rebuild/parts. Lots more not shown Inc starter and Genny parts.
All this came in a bulk buy and is surplus. I'm not into garden art so it's got to go. Will take what I can to Laidley swap this weekend.
After that it's off to Steptoe and Son for scrap.
