This has been for sale for a while but searching this forum didn't show it. Looks like a nice example with a good price.

That doesn't look like a factory setup. I'm guessing a tall owner was trying to create legroom and the seat couldn't go back any further.

Agree that it must be uncomfortable.

I looked at a '28 Chrysler roadster that had a similar seat set up.  

I guess it might have been modified as well, but cars of the period usually had far more head room than we expect today so it hard to see a reason.  

Made me think of English sports cars from the 50's (Austin Healy and Triumph TR3).

Not what you'd call a big price drop, maybe they plan to drop it $1200 every two weeks until it sells. I do love those disc wheels.
