dodge28
I have an assembly 29 Dodge coil and ignition switch combination. The ignition coil is shot. I need a key. It looks like a Brigs and Straton. Not sure. The number for the key stamped on the boss looks like Imo71 or 1M071 Any Help please ?
30DodgePanel
Should have had the number stamped on the side of the pot metal. Definitely IM071 Example of one with IM038 stamped on it along with the correct BASCO keys Edited April 22, 2023 by 30DodgePanel (see edit history)

Good morning, they are out there, you have to look around... eBay has original blanks from time to time and most locksmiths should be able to cut them for you. Some old school locksmiths might even have the blanks in stock still as it was used on many vehicles of the era, just make sure it's groove 1 and # 42755 style otherwise you might have problems with the fit. Best of luck, Dave
30DodgePanel
By the way, my books and other info are loaned out currently, but I'm pretty sure the information in my prior post is what you'll need from memory. Maybe someone else can double check or maybe make sure the locksmith can verify it first before he cuts them.
