1947 Merc Coupe 100 hp flathead V8 3 on the tree in Great Shape!
Looks like only One Repaint in 76 Years!  Ruby Red is a richer color than my camera phone can see!
No evidence of Rust that I can see...ever.
Though not perfect...it is a very nice Classic Ride!
Nice straight old gal that shows well and gets on down the road nicely.

I wonder if J C Whitney still sells that spray on upholstery dye?

I remember using some about 1979. It actually looked pretty nice but I did discover it could be a problem if you wear white pants

I think the name of the stuff I used was Mar-Hyde. According to the Garage Journal 3M bought them out and that was the end of the spray vinyl dye. They do mention the name of another company.
