I was only listing this one for the value of the engine and tranny. Probably a person would have to wait a long time for the seller to get real about the price, though. If it's a hydramatic, which are usually bullet proof, the problem is likely stuck valves.

Did they put hydramatic transmissions in 55 Hudson’s? Thought early 54’s were the last to receive a hydramatic?

As I recall, both Huson and Nash used Hydra-Matic,

and as a '55, Hudson's unique identity disappeared as they shared so many components with Nash-

hence the somewhat derogatory name for both versions---
