Steve_Mack_CT
Looks like another half a$$ed attempt at hot rodding based on moving the lights and pulling fenders. Maybe that is as far as he got with it. Edited September 29, 2022 by Steve_Mack_CT (see edit history)
alsancle
Untouched, the car might be worth close to 20 K.
B Jake Moran
Yeah, he was starting to Hot Rod it, what a shame people don't appreciate what they have. I know it's a closed car, but I would love to own a 7 passenger closed 1930's "high end" car. I don't know Packards like most of you, so the "1104" limo means nothing to me BUT I have to believe it had a good Packard 8 cylinder in there. bryankazmer
1104 is 11th series Super Eight, the larger of the two straight eights
Steve_Mack_CT
Yeah at $20k, or a bit less a hands on hobbyist could be into a 34 1104, limo - but still arguably Packard's most desirable year. 1st picture reflects a complete car, supposedly running. Much better start than many. I would negotiate for the swan. "I heard they made a bigger one, get me one of those and I will take it" 😁
kar3516
99% sure it’s not a Super 8 based on headlights and hubcaps assuming those are original.
Steve_Mack_CT
Did Standard 8 have the oil filled ride dampers on bumpers? Only thing I could think of other than obvious seller error.
B Jake Moran
So Packard made 7p cars in all series?
alsancle
I think a solid complete Standard Eight sedan from 1934 would probably find some buyers around 20k. A super Eight would find buyers at a higher number. Disassembled and messed with, no.
