Flivverking
There are no known viable or authoritative dvds or videos on that subject. There a hand full of old articles written through the years touching on the subect.. One that maybe of use to you is an article written by E.W.Stitt around mid.1960. It has been reproduce many times and the easist to find reprint can be found in the RED "Model T Ford Restoration Handbook" from 1960 ,new.and used copies . Flivverking
You should see inperson several well restored tops on other cars of the period and study the installion details( with a camera.)
trimacar
The Stitts article is OK but hard for someone to follow if you’ve never done upholstery, and not a good guide for a quality top. I’ve helped a few people do their own tops. Some people listen to advice, some think they know better and ignore it. I’ve never seen a good video relating to early cars. Its a step by step process. I’ll be glad to give you some pointers when you get started.
1937hd45
All I know is it as a lot like building a house, the bows and irons are the basement, if they are in poor condition the top will be less than proper.
