Fleetwood Meadow
The front fenders of my ‘52 Cadillac have a piece of metal that completes the back of the wheel well. There is fender welting on one side of it where it touches the inside of the fender. Between that piece and where it bolts to the fender is a piece of material. I dont know what it is made of but I’m assuming it is an anti-squeak material. What is it and where do I get it?
Dave39MD
I am not sure on yours but I have used roofing paper/felt or tar paper in those kind of places. Not sure of the proper name. jpage
I just use flat tail of a piece of fender welting, although, make sure it's the real lacquered cloth type.
Joe Cocuzza
It could be masticated rubber. Steele Rubber Products sells it in sheets. p/n: 70-0645-45 on their website
