Wheel identification

I have a set of wire wheels that I can’t identify.

Any help?
19” od.  17” id

5 “ wide od  4 “ wide Id

6 lug on 5.5” centers

any help is  appreciated.

The first car I think of with 6 lug nuts on wire wheels is Chevrolet. But that's all I could guess, based on my very limited knowledge.

If those spokes are welded, it is not for a Chrysler product.

If by 17" ID, you mean that the bead seat is 17" for a 17" tire, then Chevrolet Master (or any model that may have existed EXCEPT the Standard), circa 1934 or slightly earlier, would be a very good guess.

 

Pontiac from around the same time is another possibility. Definitely no later than 1934 if Pontiac.

 

I would post on the VCCA Forums and ask. If the wheels are Chevrolet, the VCCA people will know all about them.

Thank you for the suggestions on the original application.  I have had others suggest

early Chevrolet or Pontiac also.

I see ferrules on both ends of the spokes. No welds
